Vega Sotuélamos: follow your intuition
Some of the best moments in the life of Francisco and Pedro were accompanied by that cheese that had them in love. For this reason, when they were presented with the opportunity to take charge of the cheese factory, they did not hesitate to follow their intuition, despite being a totally unknown sector to them.
Our rosemary cheeses are born
We hit the market with a novel product, aged cheese with rosemary and butter, in which we achieve the creaminess of a semi-cured cheese with the flavor and intensity of an aged cheese. Something different back then, and today it continues to be one of our most appreciated products.

The day we "left home" to discover a new world was very special for all of us who had believed in Vega Sotuélamos. We verified that what was so special to us was also appreciated in places with different palates and customs. And that can only be achieved if you really offer something unique.
Our flavored cheeses are born
We have always thought that when the base is good, the journey is infinite. For this reason, when the idea of making flavored cheeses arose, we knew that the result would be spectacular. New facilities
It is what leaving home has, in the end you are left without a place to be able to enjoy the work and provide service to the clients that little by little are accompanying us, we have to undertake new facilities, and after much searching, a new location is chosen to continue our adventure, Chinchilla! Since then, this has been our new logistics and ripening center, the journey that our cheeses will take to leave us for the whole world. From this moment on, El Bonillo and Chinchilla are united by our plants.
Always in the memory
The two founders of the company, Francisco and Pedro, left us the same year with a difference of three months, Don Francisco in the month of April, and Don Pedro in the month of August of the same year, the latter already very ill, never getting to find out about his friend's death. Since then his memory inspires us every day, to continue his legacy, and the passion that both had for this cheese.
